CONTINUOUS PLAY - PART 2: NOW, AND EVER AFTER - DRESS REHEARSAL
So I can either make my piece or work on my blog. I’ve opted for working on my piece. There’s a bunch of video and lots of pictures but I don’t have time to upload or format right now. So much for following the process. This piece has a lot of moving parts. Tonight all the parts worked well together, really well. I know for a dress that is bad but i think it reflects the last 6 weeks of being in the theater and doing a hell of a lot of trouble shooting. I can’t wait to get a larger group in here to play tomorrow. If you were to look at the group photo moment from tonight’s run in closeup - i first loaded it huge - there are some amazing facial expressions -the apparent range of distance, impishness, delight, and boredom is incredible. We actually had people playing tonight and I achieved my dream - to be truly delighted and surprised inside my own work. Joy.
